Global Fire Protection Group Celebrates Five Year Anniversary with Massive Growth

AVONDALE, Pa. (March 11, 2019) – Fire and life safety services provider Global Fire Protection Group has reached a milestone this March celebrating five years of business.

Led by company Founder and President, Patrick Tesche, Global FPG revenue has grown by more than 1000 percent over the last five years and a projected revenue increase of 85 percent for 2019. Tesche has expanded the company from a few known customers in a handful of states to more than 300 customers in 16 different countries on four continents.

“I am extremely proud of the success we’ve had as a company in the last five years,” said Patrick Tesche, Global FPG President. “We have reached this milestone with the hard work and dedication of my partners and employees, as well as our continued devotion to always strive to meet and exceed our customers’ needs. We greatly appreciate our clients who have trusted us with their fire and life safety needs and look forward to continuing to serve them for many years to come.”

In 2014, Tesche saw the need in the industry for a company focused on passive fire protection and launched Global FPG initially offering design, engineering reviews, consulting and inspection and auditing services. Tesche played an active role in the passive fire protection code development, testing standards and certification programs.

In 2015, John Campbell joined the firm as Partner and Chief Engineer, as well as Bill Holden as Partner and EVP of Operations. Services were expanded to include active fire protection including design, engineering, consulting, system acceptance testing and commissioning and expert testimony. With the addition of these services, Global FPG was able to increase their industry presence and participation in active fire protection code development with the NFPA and industry development with SFPE. Revenue doubled in 2015 and continued to double year-over-year each year following.

Mark Mangles joined the firm as Partner and EVP of Sales in 2017 increasing the overall customer base as well as number of states and countries served. Throughout 2018, additional personnel we added and continued growth occurred. The company is expected to grow by another 50 percent in 2019.
